Ukulele

Ukulele also commonly known as “Uke” is an acoustic string instrument. Its structure is similar to that of a guitar but much smaller in size and with fewer strings. A typical uke has four strings made of nylon. The common types of ukuleles are soprano(standard), concert, tenor, and the baritone ukulele. At Trinity Music Academy we teach our students the art of mastering the skill to play the ukulele through a systematic step-by-step syllabus designed by the Academy.

We maintain a warm, cordial, conducive, pleasing and exciting learning environment so that our students have a wonderful, rich, progressive, constructive, and memorable experience of learning to make music.

Through periodic internal assessment and tests we train our students to prepare different scales, arpeggios, broken chords, sight-reading, improvising and aural tests. We also impart a broad knowledge of Western music, music composers and their works, structure, style and period. Subsequently the students are prepared for the world renowned and globally accredited Certificate Grade examinations conducted by Trinity College, London, UK. These examinations are available from Entry (Initial) grade up to Grade 8 for practical (Classical & Jazz/ Rock and Pop) as well as Music Theory. .
